Edward J. “Eddie” Evans passed away Saturday morning, February 8, 2025, at the age of 83. Eddie was born May 26, 1941, in Okmulgee to the late Melvin Alford and Myrtle A. (Wiggins) Evans. He was a contractor, owning Evans Builders of Okmulgee. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Eddie Evans, Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Evans; daughter, Edie Williamson and husband Tommy; grandchildren, Shai, Kristin, Devon, Mitchell, Chase and Tyler; nine great grandchildren and his sister, Timmie Garis.
Private family services May 26, 1941 – February 8, 2025
