Absentee ballot applications available for 2025 elections

Voters interested in voting by absentee ballot during the 2025 Election Year can request absentee ballots now using the OK Voter Portal at oklahoma.gov/ elections/ovp or by downloading and printing an application from the Oklahoma State Election Board website at oklahoma. gov/elections. Applications are also available at the Okmulgee County Election Board and can be mailed, emailed, or faxed to the County Election Board.

Voters can request ballots for a single election or all elections in which they are eligible to vote during the requested election year. Absentee ballot requests are valid for one calendar year. Voters who have previously received absentee ballots will need to submit a new request if they would like to vote by absentee ballot in the 2025 Election Year. Absentee applications were mailed to voters who requested to vote by mail during the 2024 election year.

The deadline to request an absentee ballot for the February 11 election is 5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27, 2025. The list of elections is available on the State Election Board website at oklahoma.gov/ elections.

Okmulgee County will hold Special Elections to fill the vacancies in the County Commissioner’s District 1 seat and the State Senator’s District 8 seat.

Voters with questions should contact the Okmulgee County Election Board at 918-756-2365 or OkmulgeeCounty@elections. ok.gov. The Okmulgee County Election Board is located at 314 W. 7th Street, Room 102 in Okmulgee. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
