Michael Jerome Colpitt

Michael was born on December 24, 1964, in California to Allen and Juanita Colpitt. He passed away in Tulsa on December 14, 2024.

Michael attended school in Okmulgee and played football, baseball and wrestled. He loved sports and being a Bulldog. He was drafted his senior year by the Phillies, where he played in the minor leagues seven years. He also helped coached the Seminole College baseball team.

He made his home in Tulsa where he worked as a landscaper. He loved being outdoor, often going to the lake on the weekend with his wife and Dylan and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his father, grandparents Howard and Cora Colpitt and grandfather Archie Kneff. He is survived by his mother; wife Stacey Colpitt; and son Chance Michael Colpitt; parents in law Sally and Timmy Morgan; brother Chad Colpitt and Wife Deanna; sisters Juanita Puglise, Stephanie Dean and husband Jeff, Sara Hunt, Mandy Nordby and husband Robin; aunts Nancy Frederick

December 24, 1964 – December 14, 2024

and husband Frank, Barbara Cockrum and husband Jack; Uncle Chuck Massey and wife Elaine; nephews Cameron Colpitt, Luke and Michael Mitchell, Michael Hunt, Hunter Dean, Wydler Nordby and Dylan Wheeler; nieces Madyson, Makenzie and Kelsie Colpitt; cousins Stephanie and Trent Cockrum, Alyssa Williams, Tiffiney Montgomery; and great nephew Dylan Wheeler.

We all will miss him and cherish our memories of him.

There will be a celebration of life December 28, 2024, at 12 noon at the Stokely Event Center, 10111 E. 45th Pl. in Tulsa. There will be a graveside service to follow at Memorial Cemetery, 5111 Memorial Dr. in Tulsa.

Family was cared for by Moore Funeral Home and Crematory.
