Stallings carries Lady Demons to victory over Eufaula

The Beggs Lady Demons showcased a commanding performance Tuesday night, defeating the Eufaula Ironheads 56-40. Kamya Stallings led the charge with a stellar 14-point performance, providing the spark the Lady Demons needed to secure their win.

Despite trailing 2-0 early in the game, the Lady Demons quickly found their rhythm, going on a 10-3 run to take the lead. A strong first quarter saw Beggs outscore Eufaula 1510, setting the tone for the rest of the game. With the score at 15-14, Beggs broke the game open with a decisive 10-point run, finishing the first half with a 26-16 advantage.

The Lady Demons were dominant in the paint, shooting 14-28 on two-point attempt s . Their threepoint shooting was equally impressive, with Stallings, Tessa Christy, and Mylah Williams each hitting multiple shots from beyond the arc. As a team, Beggs shot an efficient 7-14 (50%) from three-point range.

The Lady Demons’ unselfish play was evident, as they recorded nine assists on 21 made baskets. On the defens ive end, Rylee Y o u n g blood led the charge with nine rebounds, helping to stifle Eufaula’s offense. Additional contributions came from Tessa Christy and Rylee Youngblood, each scoring nine points, while Mylah Williams and Bleu Hall added eight points apiece. Destiny Clay, Ruby Tenison, and Emmebreah Triplett also chipped in with key plays to secure the victory.

The Lady Demons’ strong team play and balanced scoring ensured that Eufaula was unable to mount a comeback.

Up next for Beggs is a road matchup against the Morris Eagles on Tuesday, where they will look to add to their win column.
