Verna Jane “Janie” Lambertson, 69-yearold Okmulgee resident, passed away Friday, November 8, 2024, in Tulsa. She was born July 21, 1955, in Van Buren, Ark. to the late Louis and Melvina (Lewis) Ramsey.
She graduated from Northside High School in 1973. Janie married Robert Lambertson on March 16, 2000, in Van Buren. She worked at Sparks Hospital, Parker Orthopedic and, lastly, Dr. Nichols. Janie loved her family and cherished the time she spent with them. She will be remembered for her sassy, feisty ways and how she could always be a sweetheart when she needed to be.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Hank and Butch Ramsey, sister Jeannie Bearden and a niece, Dianna Ramsey.
Survivors include her husband Robert Lambertson, daughters Sarah Farmer and Ashley Farmer, grandchildren Cheyenne Rogers, Isabella Rogers, Makyala Rogers July 21, 1955 – November 8, 2024
and Nick Woughter, nieces Debbie Newby, Donna Ramsey, Dana Waters and Jenna Hill, nephew Joe Ed Wray, sister-in-law Barbara Keys and very special friends Carolyn Peavler and Becky Mantooth.
Viewing will begin at 9 a.m. Thursday, November 14, 2024, followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. at Mc-Clendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel.
