Trenton Gene Brooks entered Heaven on October 24, 2024, in Okmulgee. He was born on June 17, 1959, in Henryetta to Claude and Bonnie (Wilson) Brooks.
After school, Trent spent his days at his grandmother Brooks’ house. He spent most of his summers at his grandparents, Sam and Mary Wilson’s, farm in Last Chance. He grew up riding horses and playing Cowboy and Indians with his brother, Stan and cousins Ronnie, Randy, Mike and Terry.
Trent graduated from Okmulgee High School in 1978. He worked in the Steel and Oilfield industry for most of his life. He worked for Baldwin Steel for 20 years, and then retired from Henryetta Oilfield Service and Supply. He was a proud member of the Teamster Union Workers.
Trent was an example of what it means to have a strong work ethic, leaving before sun-up and returning after sunset. Trent’s positive and confident energy could be felt whenever he entered a room. He was a loyal man and would go to the ends of the earth for the things he believed in and those he loved.
Trent loved to spend time outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisher. He spent most days restoring guns and taking things apart; anything that allowed him to work with his hands.

Trent and Lisa were married on May 13th, 2002, in Arkansas, blending their families. Trent was a great father and stepfather to all seven of the children.
