Joshua Kaye Withrow

Joshua Kaye Withrow passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2024, in Phoenix, Ariz. at the age of 43. He was born on February 20, 1981, in Henryetta to Danny and Robyn (Pippin) Withrow.

Josh was a graduate of Wilson High School, Class of 1999. He married Ashlie Smith on September 27, 2008. Josh was a World Champion Team Roper, earning numerous awards, including saddles and trailers. Josh had a great love for the outdoors that included his time working in the oilfield and raising cattle. His passion for hunting began at age six when he shot his first buck. He was a third-generation elk hunter, a tradition that began with his grandpa Bobby. Josh had also tried his luck owning race horses. He held memberships in the NRA, AQHA and the Oklahoma Cattleman’s Association, as well as the American Paint Horse Association. Josh also had a passion for muscle cars, having owned several throughout the years. He will be February 20, 1981 – October 19, 2024

remembered not only for his accomplishments but for his love of family, especially his daughter, Tinlee.

Josh is survived by his loving wife, Ashlie Withrow, daughter, Tinlee Withrow, parents, Danny Withrow and Robyn Franklin; a sister, Erin Doty and husband Chance , nephews, Tradyn Doty and Carter Doty and niece Emarie Doty.

Josh joined his grandparents, Jack and Leota Withrow and Bobby and Jonna Pippin and his faithful companion of many years, Maxie.

Josh’s wishes are being honored and he will be interred overlooking the family land located at 25998 S. 180 Rd. in Henryetta. Friends and family are invited to gather there at 2 p.m. Monday, October 28, 2024 for a committal service.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in Josh’s memory to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, 825 NE 13th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73104 www.omrf. org or St. Jude, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 www.stjude. org.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Mc-Clendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee. Memories, condolences, photos and videos may be shared with the family on Josh’s Tribute page at www.mcclendon-winters. com.
