Game Briefs

Prague overpowers Okmulgee, 46-14 The Okmulgee Bulldogs faced another tough night on the field, falling to the Prague Red Devils 46-14 in Thursday’s league matchup. Prague set the tone early and maintained control throughout the game, outpacing the Bulldogs on both offense and defense. With the loss, Okmulgee’s season record slips to 0-7, while Prague improves to 3-4.

Despite the Bulldogs’ efforts, they were unable to keep pace with the Red Devils’ relentless attack. Okmulgee managed to put 14 points on the board but couldn’t mount a serious challenge to Prague’s 46-point offensive outburst.

Looking ahead, Prague will try to extend their momentum as they face the 6-1 Kingston Redskins in a non-league challenge on Friday, October 25. Okmulgee will aim to turn their season around when they take on Heavener (4-3) in their next contest.

— Golden Demons crush Comanche, 55-8 The Beggs Demons delivered a dominant performance on Thursday, crushing the visit- ing Comanche Indians by a score of 55-8. Led by quarterback Billy Ramsey, who completed 10 of 12 passes for 246 yards and two touchdowns, the Demons displayed their offensive firepower early and often.

Beggs jumped out to a commanding lead and never looked back, keeping Comanche’s defense on its heels throughout the game. With the win, the Demons improved their record to 5-2, adding another impressive victory to their season.

Next up for Beggs is a non-league contest against Coalgate on Friday. Coalgate, with a 4-3 record, will be looking to bounce back after a tough 56-18 loss to Davis in their previous game. Beggs, riding high on their recent success, will aim to keep their momentum going. — Wilson dominates Arkoma, 50-0

Wilson continued their impressive season with a 50-0 shutout win over the Arkoma Mustangs on Thursday. The Tigers controlled every aspect of the game, leaving Arkoma scoreless while posting their fourth win of the season by 40 points or more. With the victory, Wilson-Henryetta improved to 5-1, further solidifying their place as one of the top teams in the district.

The Tigers’ defense was unrelenting, and their offense delivered a series of key plays to keep Arkoma out of contention. The Mustangs, now 5-2, have struggled at home, with Thursday’s defeat marking their seventh straight home loss dating back to last season.

Wilson will face Gans in an away game next Friday, looking to continue their winning streak and maintain their dominant form.
