She leaves behind a legacy of love and fond memories, particularly with her son, Aaron Lee Peters; her sister, Phyllis Wells; and a host of nieces, nephews and loving relatives and friends who will cherish her memory forever.

A graveside service will be held in her honor on Friday, October 18, 2024, at 1 p.m. at Westlawn Cemetery in Henryetta, with her great-nephew, Pastor Justin Wells, officiating.

Arrangements are entrusted to Schaudt Okmulgee Funeral Service & Cremation Care, located at 220 S. Alabama Ave. in Okmulgee. Family and friends are invited to share their condolences, memories and kind words online at www.schaudtfuneralservice. com. Dee will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
