Andrew Jackson ‘ Jack’ Keller

Andrew Jackson “Jack” Keller, a lifetime resident of Henryetta, passed away on October 8, 2024, in Henryetta at the age of 94. He was born January 28, 1930, in Henryetta to Alvin C. Keller and Lydia (Willhite) Keller. Jack was a beacon of light, known for his thoughtful demeanor, intelligence and unique ability to make those around him smile and laugh.

Jack was born and raised in Henryetta and attended schools in Henryetta. He graduated from high school in 1948. After high school, Jack was an apprentice carpenter for several years. He became an excellent carpenter, and a master cabinet builder and started his own construction company (Keller Construction Company) performing residential and commercial construction for over 40 years. Jack built numerous houses and custom homes in the Henryetta area.

Jack enjoyed spending time with family and being an outdoorsman, his hobbies included bird hunting, fishing, camping and water skiing. In retirement, he became an excellent golfer and pool player. Jack attended and participated in the Henryetta Senior Citizens Center for over 20 years where he had many friends and companions. Jack was a very Christian man and was a lifetime member of Henryetta Church of Christ.

Jack married Betty Ann Johnson on February 24, 1950, and she preceded him in death on November 20, 2009. He later met Sylvia Ann Shelton and they were married on January 28, 2011, and she preceded him in death on April 24, 2019.

Jack is preceded in death by his parents, wife Betty, son, Dr. Charles Keller, grandson, Weston Keller and wife, Sylvia Ann Shelton January 28, 1930 – October 8, 2024

Keller, brothers, Jim, Alvin, Murl, Harold and Hershel Keller, and sisters, Agnes Olson and Lucille Keller.

Survivors include his sons, Richard Keller and his wife Jody of Henryetta and Stephen Keller and his wife Michelle of Waco, Texas; one granddaughter, Amanda Notley and husband Toby of Henryetta; two grandsons, Dillon Keller of Carrollton, Texas and Harrison Keller of Waco, Texas; two great-granddaughters, Montgomery Notley of Bucyrus, Ohio and Skyla Boles and husband Austin of Cushing; two step great grandsons, Wade Minyard of Henryetta and Alex Minyard and wife Lizzie of Henryetta, and also by a host of friends and other relatives.

Viewing for Mr. Keller was held Monday, October 14, 2024, from 5-8 p.m. at Integrity Funeral Service with family present for visitation from 5-7 p.m.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Henryetta Church of Christ, 413 W. Broadway in Henryetta, with Rex Walcher officiating. Interment will follow the service at Westlawn Cemetery in Henryetta.

Those serving as pallbearers will be Austin Boles, Harold Casler, Dillon Keller, Harrison Keller, Toby Notley and Alex Minyard.

Arrangements and services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service, 410 E. Trudgeon St. in Henryetta.
