Kace Gaige Scott Ledger, an Okmulgee resident, passed away Sunday, October 6, 2024, at the age of 17. He was born on Monday, October 9, 2006, to Jeffery Scott and Kodi DeAnn (Haney) Ledger.
Kace had a closeknit group of friends. Though he liked to hang out with his friends, there was nowhere else he would rather be than at home. He enjoyed playing video games and was learning how to play the guitar. Kace was quiet by nature and had a personality that was eccentric, but above all his heart was enormous and caring.
Kace is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Roberta Haney.
He is survived by his parents, Jeffery and Kodi Ledger; siblings, Teagen Ledger, Phoenix Ledger, Dyzen Ledger, and Aamani Ledger; grandparents, Sharon Farrill, Gary Sparks, and Anthony Roberts; aunts, Tina Moten, Angela Smithson, and Kelli Patterson; along with many cousins, other family members, and friends.
A wake service is October 9, 2006 – October 6, 2024
scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at Seminole Hitchitee United Methodist Church, 11454 NS 3610 Rd Seminole, OK 74868. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., with Pastor Rick Deer officiating. Interment will follow at the Underwood Family Cemetery, 36121 E. Hwy 99A Seminole, OK 74868. Casketbearers will be Jeffery Ledger, Teagen Ledger, Kendon Young, Logan Garrett, Josh Cloud and Tyler Combs.
