Dewar, Wilson to host district tournaments

The 2024 district tournament assignments for fastpitch softball Classes A and B were released this week, with Wilson and Dewar set to host games.

The tournaments will be held beginning Sept. 26, and must be completed by Sept. 28.

Dewar will face Liberty, while Wilson will host Varnum and Prue.

Below is the District Tournament for Wilson:

Wilson District Tournament

Wilson Public Schools is located at 8867 Chestnut Road in Henryetta. Admission is $5 (students and adults), and only OSSAA Passes will be accepted. Thursday, Sept. 26

• Game 1: 11 a.m. – Varnum vs. Prue

• Game 2: 12:15 p.m. – L1 vs. Wilson

• Game 3: 1:30 p.m. – W1 vs. Wilson

• Game 4: 2:45 p.m. – If one team has one loss and one team has no losses

• Game 5: 4 p.m. – If necessary If all team have one loss:

• Game 4: 2:45 p.m. – Varnum vs. Prue

• Game 5: 4 p.m. – W4 vs. Wilson —
