The community is invited to come eat dinner with the Preston Jump Rope Team next Monday.

According to Coach Vicky Graham, Tavern 56 will host the team members, who will be servers, from 5-8 p.m. on Aug. 26. The restaurant has pledged a percentage of the night’s receipt and tips earned.

The event will raise funds for the Preston Jump Rope Team to travel to the National Double Dutch Competition in New York at the famed Apollo Theater.

The team is also holding several raffles including a Movie Night Cart (on display at Tavern 56) which includes: • 58” Smart TV (Do- nated by Tavern 56)

• Two Bowls w/Lids

• Carmel Popcorn

• Two Regal Wine Glasses The live drawing for the Movie Night Cart will take place at Coach Graham’s 60th birthday bash on Friday, Nov. 8 at Tavern 56.

Tickets are $5 each, five for $20, 12 for $40 or 30 for $100.

Also up for grabs will be a 1/4 pound of beef. The drawing will take place Saturday, Oct. 5, at Tavern 56 during the Trivia Night fundraiser.

Tavern 56 is located at 100 S. Morton Ave. in downtown Okmulgee.

As a reminder, the fundraiser shoe drive runs through Oct. 11.
