Nancy K. Willmann

Nancy K. Willmann passed away peacefully on August 12, 2024, surrounded by her family in Tulsa, at the age of 74. She was born to Billy and Julia (Bear) Thompson on July 9, 1950, in Tulsa.

She married Benny on May 12, 1972, in Claremore. Their story began years before, when they were born at the same hospital and spent time in the nursery together. Nancy and Benny both attended Immaculate Conception Catholic School. Nancy spent her life caring for their home and her children. Nancy was very talented. She had an artistic streak that allowed her to pursue many talents. She fancied playing the piano and she also loved to paint. This natural talent carried over to her love for the great outdoors. She used her creativity to landscape her yard planting various flowers that always flourished. Nancy began raising birds and enjoyed watching the various ones that visited her yard. Nancy liked to fish and her trips to the horse races. She had a great love for the many dogs she had over the years.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents and husband Bernard “Benny” Willmann.

She is survived by her daughter Heather July 9, 1950 – August 12, 2024

Hutton and husband Darren of Tulsa, son Brent Willmann and wife Nancy of Owasso, brother Mark Thompson, grandchildren Billy Willmann, Kaylee Hutton, Riley Hutton, Erica Bailey and Emily DuBuc, two great-grandchildren Reagan and Remi Willmann.

The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday August 15, 2024, at McClendon- Winters Funeral Home Chapel, with Father Harder officiating. Viewing will be held from 1-7 p.m. at McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee. Committal will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulsa.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Mc-Clendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee. Memories, condolences, photos and videos may be shared with the family on Nancy’s Tribute Page at www.mcclendon- winters.com.
