Ian W. Lampkins

December 20, 1998 – August 7, 2024

Ian W. Lampkins, lifelong Beggs resident, age 25, passed away on August 7, 2024, in Beggs. He was born December 20, 1998, to Harold “Lynn” Lampkins and Tiffany (Harrington) Daniel.

Ian attended school at Beggs. He was a spunky kid who was always on the go and defying the odds. Ian had a huge heart and loved his family and friends. He met his soul mate, Abby Potter, while in high school. One of Ian’s biggest dreams was having a family of his own. He was excited about his wife, Abby’s pregnancy and the upcoming birth of his daughter, Delilah. Ian developed a passion for cooking as a child, helping his mother prepare meals. He previously worked at the Rodeo restaurant in Okmulgee which fueled his ambition of owning and operating his own food truck.

Ian had recently started a job with Okmulgee County District One. He thoroughly enjoyed his work with the county. Ian loved to sing. He grew up singing with his brother and his friends. He enjoyed singing renditions of Elvis, country and gospel music. He also liked to fish with his older brother Riley.

Ian is preceded in death by his father Lynn Lampkins; grandparents, Jerry Lampkins, Martha (Bland) Kirby, Jerry and Mary Jo (Somers) Harrington.

He is survived by his wife Abby; daughter Delilah; mother Tiffany Daniel; brother Riley Lampkins and wife Cierra Cross; sisters Megan Moore and Ashley Lampkins; step-grandmother Vonna Lampkins; numerous nieces and nephews and his dogs Clover and Daisy.

Visitation was held from 1-7 p.m. Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Beggs. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at Crossroads Baptist Church, with Pastor Briarsen Burke officiating. Interment will follow at Beggs Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Mc-Clendon-Winters Funeral Home of Beggs. Memories, condolences, photos and videos may be shared with the family on Ian’s Tribute Page at www.mcclendon- winters.com.
