Correction: In the article about the Big Brain Trivia event published Friday, July 19, 2024, the pricing for tables was incorrectly listed. -Get ready for the Big Brain Trivia fundraiser!

The Okmulgee Main Street organization is excited to announce the upcoming Big Brain Trivia Night fundraiser, promising an evening full of fun, food, and friendly competition. This much-anticipated event is set to take place on Saturday, Aug. 3, and there are still a few tables available for those eager to join.

Currently, 14-15 teams have enrolled, with a total of 25 tables available. The cost for a table of 8 people is $420 and corporate tables are $520. While individual tickets are not sold, those who don’t have a full table can still participate by purchasing a seat at an existing table.

— Auction Highlights The evening will feature a variety of exciting auction baskets, including:

• Football Basket: Perfect for sports enthusiasts.

• Designer Sunglasses: Stylish and practical.

• Pottery from a Local Artist: Unique and handcrafted.

• Wine Basket: Featuring exquisite wines from Prosser, Washington.

• Private Dinner: Catered by a professional chef, ideal for a special occasion.

• Pendleton Blanket: A custom-designed piece, adding a touch of elegance to any home.

— How to Participate Planning ahead is crucial for this event. Melinda De Santo emphasizes, “Because we’re not taking money at the door, you have to call the office and we’ll get you set up.” The deadline to sign up is Friday, July 26 to ensure proper planning and catering arrangements.

De Santo invites everyone to bring their friends and enjoy a memorable evening. “Bring your friends and come on out for a good time and support a good cause,” she said. “There’s a 50/50 raffle, auctions, and you can even buy a mulligan to correct a wrong answer. It’s going to be a fun night!”

Don’t miss out on this chance to join the community for an unforgettable night of entertainment and support for Okmulgee Main Street. For more information or to reserve your table, contact the Okmulgee Main Street office at 918-758-1015.
