Members and volunteers from First Presbyterian Church of Okmulgee are ready for the 9th annual Free Shoes, Socks and Books Giveaway event this Saturday, July 27. This mission is for all school age children from 4-year-old Pre-K through 12th grade. Children must be present to receive these gifts. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday at the church, located at 401 S. Seminole Ave. in Okmulgee on the corner of 9th and Seminole. Everyone is welcome, and the church hopes to help 500 children prepare for the new school year.
