Dewar powerlifting receives State rings

In March, the Dewar Dragons had eight members of the powerlifting team qualify for the State Powerlifting Meet in El Reno. All eight placed in the top 10 of each of their weight divisions for a grand total of 9,870 lbs. with 84 points. That score made the Dragons the Small School State Powerlifting Champions for 2024.

The team came together, and everyone contributed to the win. Hard work pays off!

Team members include Cash Faulkner (132 lb.), Keelan Berry (157 lb.), Naea Corbin (198 lb.), Nevin Corbin (198 lb.), Issac Powell (220 lb.), Damian Smith (220 lb.), Kade Henderson (242 lb.) and Kade Birdtail (275 lb.). Coaches are Josh Been, Jarod Powell and Marshall Been.
