ecoLINK begins construction on fiber broadband network in Schulter, Morris areas
By Joshua

ecoLINK, fiber broadband provider powered by East Central Electric Cooperative, is excited to announce the commencement of construction for our new fiber broadband network in the Schulter and Morris areas. This significant development marks a key milestone in our commitment to delivering cutting-edge internet services to underserved communities.

As part of ecoLINK’s mission to bridge the digital divide, this off-system build project aims to bring reliable, high-speed internet to the residents and businesses of Schulter and Morris. The new fiber network will provide unprecedented internet speeds, enhancing the quality of life and supporting economic growth in these regions.

“We are thrilled to begin construction on this essential infrastructure project,” Jeremy Hendrickson, Vice President of Broadband, said. “Access to high-speed internet is no longer a luxury, but a necessity. Our fiber network will empower the Schulter and Morris communities with the digital tools they need to succeed in today’s connected world.”

Construction is expected to be complete and subscribers online by the end of this year. ecoLINK is committed to minimizing disruption during the build process and is working closely with local authorities to ensure a smooth and efficient rollout.

Key benefits of the ecoLINK fiber broadband network include:

• Ultra-Fast Internet Speeds: Experience seamless streaming, gaming, and remote work capabilities with speeds up to 1Gb.

• Reliable Connectivity: Our state-of-the-art fiber technology ensures consistent and dependable internet access.

• Future-Proof Infrastructure: Designed to meet the growing demands of the digital age, our network is built for long-term sustainability and scalability.

• Enhanced Community Services: Improved internet access supports better educational, healthcare, and business opportunities.

ecoLINK’s investment in the Schulter and Morris areas underscores our dedication to providing top-tier internet services to rural and underserved communities. This project is part of a broader initiative to expand our fiber network across the region, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to benefit from high-speed internet.
