Ethel “Irene” Grogan, a lifelong Okmulgee resident, died at the age of 93, May 28, 2024, at Clarehouse in Tulsa. She was born to Archibald and Ethel (Bay) Hazlett on August 1,1930, in Okmulgee.

A memorial service to celebrate Irene will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 1, 2024, at McClendon- Winters Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Dale Copeland and Rev. Jerry Lout officiating. Irene’s wishes were to be placed with her husband at Hoffman Cemetery.

Arrangements and cremation services have been entrusted to McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee. Memories, condolences, photos and videos may be shared with the family on Irene’s Tribute Page at www.mcclendon-winters. com.
