For the last few weeks, our focus has been on our “walk” through this world as we live life. Most recently, we considered what the Bible has to say about different areas of our journey here. We found that the first acceptable work we can do for God as accountable human beings is to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ (John 6:29), and then to fill our days with good works as laid out in the pages of God’s Word (Titus 3:8). We saw, too, the importance of our words as one day we will give account for them, and the exhortation is to let no “corrupt” speech be a part of our vocabulary that we may glorify God and bless others.
