Penelope “Penny” Sue McVeigh was born September 13, 1952, in Gulf Port, Miss. to Ronald and Vivian Carver. She passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024, at her home in Okemah at the age of 71. Penny worked as a manager for Loves in Okemah for many years and, along with her husband Jerry, owned and operated the 62 Bar in Okemah. She was a great cook and also enjoyed camping.
