Bettie Lou Walker, of Franciscan Villa in Broken Arrow, passed away on Sunday morning, May 19, 2024, at 105 years of age. She was born March 6, 1919, in Muskogee to the late Arthur Weston and Minnie Olive (Johnson) Botsford. Bettie was raised in Morris along with her two brothers. She married Robert Walker on January 30, 1943. She was an avid reader and loved tending to her garden, which often was her entire back yard. Bettie enjoyed painting and doing the daily newspaper crossword puzzle, things she did well beyond her 100th birthday. She was known to use Google to learn how to do new things.
Bettie will be remembered as a strong willed lady that deeply loved her family.
Preceding her in passing was her parents, husband Robert Walker, two brothers, Arthur Eugene Botsford and Paul Johnson Botsford and a daughter, Jennifer Gail Walker.

Survivors include her daughter, Judi Bradley, sons, Robert Eugene Walker and William Arthur Walker, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a great, great grandchild that proudly represented the fifth generation.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at Okmulgee Cemetery.
