Each Friday through October from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Okmulgee Farmer’s Market grand opening is today, from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. on the square in downtown Okmulgee.
According to Director Robyn Franklin, there will be a Choose Homemade booth offering cooking supply giveaways, kid activities and more.
“We plan to have music this season,” she stated adding, “We have several new vendors as well as our regulars this season. If you haven’t signed up for a senior market card yet, there will be a booth for that. Come on down and enjoy.”
Franklin reminds local citizens the local market accepts SNAP and the Double-Up program for SNAP users. Also available is the Fresh Food Assistance program.
Okmulgee Farmer’s Market will continue each Friday through October. Location is on the north side of the Creek Council House in historic downtown Okmulgee.
