County runners to compete this weekend

Okmulgee High School

The boys are headed to State!

• Jorden Bolden – Shot Put

• Larry Yahola – 400m Dash

• Javin Hutchinson, Larry Yahola, Marcus McNeal & Trey Ross – 4×4 Relay Team — Henryetta High School

• Talon Weaver 4×100 & 4×400

• Nick Hudson 4×100 & 4×400

• Talon Bennett 4×100 & 4×400

• Nathan Nail 4×100, 4×400 & 200m

• McKayla Greenhaw 400m

• Camrynn Watkins 800m — Beggs High School

The Beggs High School track team came home from Regionals with a total of 27 medals, while the boys track team finished runner- up. Ten athletes qualified for the State meet at Catoosa this weekend, May 3-4.

• Louis Jupiter – 4×1 Relay, 4×4 Relay, 200m Dash

• Kevin Guerrero – 4×8 Relay, 4×4 Relay, 400m Dash

• Jeremiah Hughes – 4×8 Relay, 4×4 Relay

• Elijah Johnson – 4×1 Relay, 4×4 Relay, Long Jump

• Brayden King – 4×1 Relay, Long Jump

• Logan Dickey – 4×1 Relay

• Cruz Holsey – Pole Vault

• Oliver Wadsworth – 4×8 Relay

• Isaiah Clay – 4×8 Relay — Dewar High School

Dewar Sophomore Adena Fowler will run in the State Track Meet this Saturday at 12:50 p.m. at Western Heights High School in OKC.
