Join local author Elizabeth Dearmore at the Okmulgee Public Library this Thursday from 5-6 p.m. as she signs copies of her debut novel, “Capturing the Dead.” Set in the haunting aftermath of the Civil War, the novel explores the eerie world of post-mortem photography through the lens of Leland Curtis, a seasoned war photographer drawn into the spectral side of 1870s America.
