Tammy Sue Aston

Tammy Sue Aston, lifelong Morris resident, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born October 9, 1963, in Morris to the late Harold J. And Evelyn (Garrad) Dill. Tammy graduated Morris High School in 1981, and married the love of her life on July 25, 1980, in Okmulgee. She loved to fish and play bingo and was known as a wonderful cook. She enjoyed her sweets as well. She could make anyone feel at home with just her smile and kind words. She cared for her animals as if they were humans. If you were having a bad day, you could call her and forget all about that bad day after just a simple conversation with her.

Together, Tammy and Clint built a successful oil and gas business amongst that she ran her own successful cleaning business by herself. Tammy was a devoted wife, mother, nana and friend. Tammy had every right to cry, be mad, or even fall into depression after her diagnosis but instead she loved and lived every moment she was given. Neither hard times nor cancer could rob her of who she was. Always graceful until God called her home.

She was preceded in October 9, 1963 – April 21, 2024

death by her parents; a sister, Wanda Due; and a brother, Gerald Wayne Dill.

Survivors include her husband, Clint Aston; a son, Ronnie Aston; granddaughter, Harley Aston; sister, Janice Curtis; brother, Dale Dill and numerous nieces and nephews.

Viewing will begin at 2 p.m. and the family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Mc-Clendon-Winters Funeral Home of Morris.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Liberty Baptist Church, with Rev. Randy Mathews officiating. Interment will follow at Morris Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Mc-Clendon-Winters Funeral Home of Morris. Memories, condolences, photos and videos may be shared with the family on Tammy’s Tribute Page at www. mcclendon-winters. com.
