County athletes represent at Henryetta Track Meet

Henryetta hosted their annual Track Meet last Friday, March 29, as numerous teams from around the area competed.

Participating high schools from the county were Henryetta, Schulter and Wilson. Other squads represented were Kiefer, Varnum, Midway, Mounds, Daniel Webster (Tulsa), Butner, Holdenville, Liberty, Calvin, Weleetka, Sequoyah-Tahlequah and Stilwell.

Henryetta High School will hold the annual Henryetta Black Gold Relays today. Field events will begin at 9:30 a.m. with the running events at 10 a.m.

Also scheduled are the annual Henryetta Middle School Relays. This event is for 7th and 8th grade boys and girls. Field events begin 9:30 a.m. with running events at 10 a.m.
