Sharon Kathleen Montgomery

Sharon Kathleen Montgomery was born October 26, 1958, in Okmulgee to Parnell and Yvonne Montgomery. She was the fourth child of eight.

Sharon graduated from Okmulgee High School in 1976. She continued her education at Langston University, majoring in accounting from 19761979. Then graduated with a degree in Accounting from OSUIT on January 25, 1980.

After graduation, Sharon moved to San Antonio, Texas, in 1984, where she worked at Globe 360, now OpenText INC., for 20-plus years.

Sharon enjoyed spending time with her family. She hosted home bible studies. Sharon was a devout Christian and loved the lord unapologetically. Sharon went on several Missionary Trips (Haiti, London, France, Africa, Germany) sharing the love of God.

Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Parnell; mother, Yvonne; and little sister, Belinda Montgomery.

Ms. Sharon Kathleen Montgomery, formerly of Okmulgee, “left this life for Life Everlasting” on Thursday, March 14, 2024, from San Antonio, Texas in her 65th year.

her memory: her loving five sisters and one brother, Bonnie Walker of Ewa Beach, Hawaii; Laura, Larry, Charlene Montgomery of Okmulgee, Eleanor and Parnella Montgomery of San Antonio, Texas; and her four nieces and three nephews Sheureka, Chiquita, Patricia, Dysheika, Bryce, Larry Jr. and Antonio along with a host of great-nieces, great-nephews and other relatives and friends.

You may visit Ms. Montgomery as she slumbers in sweet repose in The Chapel of Peace of Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors Inc. of Okmulgee on Friday, March 29, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Christian Committal will immediately follow the visitation at Woodlawn Cemetery in Okmulgee at 2 p.m.

Services are under the direction of Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors, Inc.
