Memories of early childhood are at best scattered, brief, and in some ways, unreliable. Sometimes when I am remembering certain happenings, I wonder if they are actual, real events, or remembrances of childhood dreams that just seem real. Are they coming from real happenings or dreams that grew out of parental warnings or guilty feelings.
