Tim Taylor, a member of the Okmulgee County Farm Bureau Young Farmers & Ranchers, and AgEd instructor for Okmulgee Schools, was busy last Saturday, along with other members assisting with the fundraiser Pancake Breakfast before the start of the Okmulgee County Spring Livestock Show. Thanks to a gracious donor who paid for the first 60 meals for attendees. Taylor then pulled double duty as he supported Okmulgee FFA students as they competed in the event. This evening, the Okmulgee FFA Booster Club will hold their annual Pie Auction Fundraiser at the OHS cafeteria. The public is invited to the event which will include silent auction items donated by FFA members, parents, and community organizations, a free BBQ dinner for auction participants and buyers and a live pie auction featuring homemade or storebought desserts. It begins at 6:30 p.m.
