Have you ever felt put upon? You know, that feeling of someone taking advantage of you? I looked up the meaning of “put upon” just to be sure I was thinking of and using the phrase properly. Cambridge Dictionary says it means, “having to do more than is fair in order to allow others to get what they want in a situation.” That is precisely what I thought it meant.
