Members of the Okmulgee Fire Department’s A Shift responded to an apartment fire in the area of 4th & Sherman Friday night. According to the OFD, there was one fatality related to the structure fire. No ID has been made as to the victim. Other occupants of the apartment were safely evacuated, and City of Okmulgee Emergency Management Director Ken Anderson helped get the displaced residents assistance with their immediate needs.
