Like many who start new habits for New Year Resolutions, members of Okmulgee FFA Chapter Officer Teams met on Jan. 4 to plan FFA events for the spring semester during the Winter Officer Retreat. But instead of vague hopes, these officers used measurable and time-bound goals for their upcoming events. The officers reviewed fall 2023 FFA events, discussing ways each event could be improved, restructured, or promoted in the hopes of improving each event for next year. When looking at the spring 2024 semester, the officers implemented SMART goals strategies (specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and time-bound) to ensure each event is planned in a well-rounded way.
