Barbara Sue White

Barbara Sue White passed from this life on December 12, 2023, in Bartlesville at the age of 89, surrounded by her family. She was born on August 25, 1934, to William E. and Emma (Berry) McCarty in Sunrise. She was one of five children.

Barbara graduated from Okmulgee High School. She worked in retail, the glass plant, and retired as a social worker after 20 years with the Tulsa County Health and Human Services.

Barbara married Nick Muzljakovich in 1953, and to this marriage they had three boys. In 1975, she married Miles White. Barbara loved spending time with her family and enjoyed baking and cooking for them.

While living in Okmulgee, Barbara was a member of First Baptist Church of Okmulgee.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, William & Emma Mc-Carty; husband, Miles; brothers Garland, Curtis, William McCarty, Jr.; and sister, Mary Lou Gilbert.

She is survived by her sons, Nick Muzljakovich (Harriett), Steve Muzljakovich (Rhonda), and Jeff Muzljakovich; grandchildren, Paul Muzljakovich (Morgan), Kate Muzljakovich, Sean Muzljakovich August 25, 1934 – December 12, 2023

(Elizabeth), Dylan Muzljakovich, (Susan); great grandchild, Carter Muzljakovich, nieces, Robin Millar and Renee Gilbert; and nephews, Niles, Curtis Jr. and Billy McCarty.

Services for Barbara will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 16, 2023, at McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Randy Zinn officiating. Family visitation will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 16, 2023, at McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel. A private family committal will follow.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Mc-Clendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee. Donations in her name could be made to The Journey Home in Bartlesville. Memories, condolences, photos and videos may be shared with the family on Barbara’s Tribute Page at www.mcclendon- winters.com.
