Michael Wayne Wesley was born on September 12, 1948, in Holdenville to Joseph and Wanda M. (Buck) Wesley. He passed November 20, 2023, in Tulsa at the age of 75.
Michael enjoyed a good game of billiards, had a love for any OU Sooners sports team, and was an avid listener of R&B/Soul music. Michael was active in the U.S. Army from 1969 to 1975, where he served in the Vietnam War. He was a lifetime member of the VFW. He was also a member of the American Legion, the NRA, and the Muscogee Creek Nation Honor Guard.
Michael is preceded in death by both his parents, Joseph and Wanda, brother, Larry Wesley, and sister, Pearline Shell.
Michael is survived by his niece, Rhonda Shell and nephews, Steve Shell, Jr. and Bruce Williams and numerous nieces, nephews, and

Visitation will be held from 12-6 p.m. Thursday, November 30, 2023, at McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel in Okmulgee. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, December 1, 2023, at McClendon- Winters Funeral Home Chapel in Okmulgee.
