EM Report heard
The Okmulgee County Board of Commissioners approved a number of items during their regular meeting on Monday, including the minutes from the Nov. 6 meeting and Invitation to Rebid for election ballots. This item came up during last week’s meeting, but those ballots had an incorrect month.
The board also acknowledged a correction to the signature date on holidays for the 2024 calendar year.
Two items related to the Bristlecone Rd. project were approved: 324A claims and an adjustment to the appraisal for parcel 38.
The county is also now taking bids for road materials for a six-month-period.
The disposal of items from the Okmulgee County Health Department was tabled at the meeting. The OCHD asked whether other departments had use for the equipment before disposal, so the board tabled this until they had a chance to review the items.
Before going into an executive session, the board also heard the weekly report from Emergency Management Director Jeff Moore. His day-to-day report can also be found in this edition.
