Last Saturday was the perfect day for a hot bowl of gumbo as the Town of Grayson held their annual Gumbo Festive. The festival is the town’s main fundraiser and those funds are important in helping maintain Grayson’s annual obligations. Besides the delicious gumbo delivered either right to your table or ready for takeout, it was very busy but well worth the effort. There were also many visitors and numerous vendors on hand, including a turkey shoot and a drawing for a beautiful quilt.
