Claudia Jo Harris, longtime Okmulgee resident, passed away at the age of 79, in Tulsa on September 29, 2023. She was born to Aileen and Robert Evans on November 26, 1943, in Henryetta.
Claudia and Harold Harris married on June 20, 1961, in Henryetta. To this union, they had two daughters, Margaret Hilburn and husband Herbie, Alicia Scott and husband Jason. Claudia was a homemaker and raised their two daughters.
Claudia enjoyed cooking, bowling, volleyball, Oklahoma Sooner football, softball, Oklahoma City Thunder basketball and spending time with her family. Claudia also loved playing slots and won a trip to Vegas.

Claudia is survived by her husband Harold, of the home; two daughters, Margaret Hilburn and Alicia Scott; grandchildren Tyson Davis, Justin Smith, Allison Hilburn, Danni Murphy, Samantha Cozbey and Jonathon Cozbey; and three great-grandchildren, Lexi Thornton, Rylin Thornton and Braxton Thornton.
Claudia was preceded in death by her parents, Aileen and Robert Evans; sister, Fenicia Akins; grandson Nathan Smith; and niece Dina Thompson.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at the McClendon- Winters Funeral Home Chapel, with Father Kenneth Harder officiating.
