The Okmulgee County Criminal Justice Authority (OCCJA) recently donated a number of items, including tactical gear and orange inmate jackets, to surrounding counties. Representatives from the different counties were in Okmulgee recently for training. Those counties include Osage, Latimer, Bryan, Texas and Love Counties. Administrative Captain Aaron Swayze said that they have plans to donate more equipment, like inmate uniforms to other counties in need.
