Carrieanna Holleman Mabrey

Carrieanna Holleman Mabrey was born to the late Arthur Lee and Betty Joe Holleman in Okmulgee on Saturday, February 8, 1947. She passed away Sunday, September 10, 2023, surrounded by family.

Carrieanna attended Okmulgee High School, where she graduated with the class of 1965. She was Cheer Captain, PromQueenandHomecoming Queen. She was also the fastest runner at Emerson Grade School. Carrieanna went on to get a degree in Nursing. As a caring nurse, she dedicated her time and energy to providing healthcare and support to her patients, showing compassion and empathy in her work. Her nurturing spirit knew no bounds and she dedicated her days to spreading love and care to those around her. She retired after many years as Director of Nursing. Carrieanna also had her own beauty spa she named “Floozies.”

Spontaneous, quirky, loving, strong willed and independent are some of the words that described Carrieanna. She loved to take off on a whim for a quick vacation. She loved chili dogs and Dr. Pepper. One of her favorite things to do was attend the Tulsa State Fair every October with her children and grandchildren. Her grandchildren were her world. She was always dressed to impress and lit up every room she walked into.

Proceeding Carrieanna February 8, 1947 – September 10, 2023
