Anderson Berryhill III

August 16, 1962 – August 21, 2023

Anderson Berryhill, III was born Thursday, August 16, 1962, in Oklahoma City to the late Anderson Berryhill, Jr. and Cora Sue (Beaver) Berryhill. He passed away Monday, August 21, 2023, in Branson, Mo. Anderson had just celebrated his 61st birthday.

Anderson was raised in Midwest City and graduated from Star Spencer High School in 1980. He then attended the College of the Muscogee Nation in Okmulgee. He had a thirty-year career working for Albertson’s in the food industry before relocating to the Okmulgee area to oversee the food and beverage services at the casino. On January 16, 2016, Anderson married the love of his life, Connie (Freeman) Berryhill. From a very young age, Anderson played baseball and was a catcher. As an adult, he continued playing ball recreationally and in the Native League. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, cooking, smoking meats and was an avid OU sports fan. He especially loved being with his family. Anderson was a member of Big Cussetah United Methodist Church.

Preceding him in death were his father, Anderson Berryhill, Jr.; brother, Gino Robert Berryhill; two granddaughters, Ava and Ariel Hubble; and his grandparents, John and Della Beaver, Anderson Berryhill, Sr. and Carrie Nail. Survivors include his wife, Connie Berryhill; mother, Cora Sue Berryhill; children, Andrea Adair and husband Ryan of Yukon, Lauren Murphy of Fayetteville, Hunter Berryhill of Fayetteville, Nick Evans of Yukon and Michelle Aldridge and husband Tommy of Konawa; grandchildren, Christopher, Allie, Jaxx, Emily, Wyatt, Zoey, Tenley and Whitley; numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and many friends.

A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Monday, August 28, 2023, at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at First United Methodist Church, 302 S. Seminole Ave. in Okmulgee. Interment will follow at Morris Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Mc-Clendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee. Memories, condolences, photos and videos may be shared with the family on Anderson’s tribute page at www.mcclendon-winters. com
