Sometimes, we hear things so many times that they just become a cliché. Like the story of David and Goliath. The story of the little guy who doesn’t stand a chance, but who actually wins in the end. We somehow forget what it is like in reality to face a giant that is determined to wipe us from the face of the earth. David’s older brothers and the rest of the Israelite army were afraid to accept this huge man’s challenge. They were a melted puddle of rubber collapsed legs in his presence.
