Your Restoring Moment from Restore Church

In Acts 1:4, Jesus is talking, teaching, preaching, and ministering things concerning the kingdom of God to His disciples before He ascends into heaven. He commands them not to leave Jerusalem. He wants them to wait until they receive what the Father has promised to them. In Acts 1:5, He tells His disciples that John baptized with water but in a few days they would be baptized with the Holy Spirit. Verse 8 explains how when the Holy Spirit comes upon them, they will receive power and will tell people about Jesus everywhere. Act 2 tells us in verse 4 that everyone present that day was filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in another language, as the Holy Spirit gave them the ability. The church needed to be launched. The disciples didn’t launch the church in themselves or by themselves, they did it by the Holy Ghost. The Church of the living God was founded upon the power of the Holy Ghost. Today, we still need the Holy Ghost. The Church needs to be operating in the Holy Ghost. In our messages that are preached, there should be a demonstration of the Holy Spirit and the power of the Holy Spirit. So why do we need the Holy Ghost?
