Henryetta Express pitchers Braxton Wiebe (above) and Brayden Murphy deliver pitches during the OK Kids 12U state baseball tournament at the Sallisaw Sports Complex. Wiebe struck out 15, including the first 10 batters, in last Monday’s opening-round battle with the Kingfisher Blue Sox. Murphy was on the mound for the Express in last Wednesday’s loser’s bracket first round battle with the Blanchard Boom. The Express had their state tournament appearance end with two-straight losses at the week-long event.
