Okmulgee High School traveled to Wichita State University recently to present their NIAR CAD/ CAM lab projects. The students are enrolled in 3D Design CATIA courses, located in the Center for Aviation and Advanced Technologies (CAAT). Students are taught by Anthony Snow. Scott Bevan also accompanied them on the trip. He teaches Aerospace classes. The first group involved Dakoda Faucette, Nylen Gentry, Scott Hood, and Donovin Fisher. They designed a keyboard. The second group included Alex Armstrong, Tyler Hardin, James Ruggles, Kevin Wang, and Eric Wang. This group designed a space shuttle. Four schools were represented with nine groups giving presentations. Each group was able to interact and ask questions. Also pictured are Joanna Lobaugh, OHS Principal and Asst.
