We are now just three weeks from the celebration of the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. That means just three weeks from when some who have been diligently praying and studying about the Church will receive the Sacrament of Baptism in the waters of that font. Another, who is baptized but not yet in full communion with the Church will be received into the Church later on. A few here but many others elsewhere across the Diocese and the world will be baptized in three weeks, becoming Catholics, they will enter into the Church knowing far more than many of us who have been Catholic our wholes lives because they have actually made the effort to study and to learn. Because we are so close to the sacrament of baptism and the celebration of Easter our readings are aimed in a special way towards those who are going to be baptized. They are trying to help you realize what is going to happen when you see them be baptized in the font.
