Ingrid Cline, Rev. Richard Dailey and Ellen Schmeder invite the community to Luther’s Oktoberfest, a family event which will be held Saturday, Oct. 29, from 4:30-8 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1314 E. 6th St. Attendees will enjoy craft beer, a variety of German food and events for both children and adults. “The PolkaMeisters” Oompah band will perform and attendees will even be able to dance the chicken dance. The doors open at 4:30 p.m. with dinner served being at 5 p.m. Tickets in advance are $20 for adults, $5 for children 6-14 and free for ages 5 and under. Reserved tables for eight are also available.
