New and veteran members of the Okmulgee Fire Department were practicing extraction techniques on old vehicles last week at Holleman’s Iron and Metal. The ongoing practice keeps firefighters up-todate on their life saving skills. This week, fire departments around the area and country are recognizing Fire Prevention Week and visits are planned to area schools to share tips and knowledge with children.
