Preston blanks Warner to sweep district series

LARRY OWEN SPORTS EDITOR The Preston Lady Pirate varsity fastpitch softball team secured another district sweep in 2022 on Tuesday with a 20-0 victory over the visiting Warner Lady Eagles. The Lady Pirates took the first District 2A-7 meeting with Warner, who is coached by former Preston coach Mickey Duncan, by a 6-0 margin on August 11 in Warner.
